Tucked in a tiny alley near Monastiraki, Kostas has been grilling souvlaki the same way since 1950. There is no menu — just pork or chicken wrapped in warm pita with tomato, onion, and a generous smear of tzatziki. Arrive before noon on weekends or expect a line that stretches around the corner. Cash only, eaten standing up. Worth every second.
