About This Tour

This is not your average Acropolis tour. Yes, we visit the iconic Parthenon — but we also explore the lesser-known sanctuaries, read the landscape like the ancients did, and finish with a cold coffee overlooking the city. We start at the ancient Agora, the beating heart of Athenian democracy, before climbing the Acropolis at the best time of day for light and smaller crowds. Along the way, I share the human stories behind the marble: the politicians, the priests, the ordinary Athenians who lived and died in the shadow of these monuments.

Traveler Reviews

We've done a lot of guided tours over the years, but this was something else entirely. The Acropolis felt genuinely personal. Artemis is a natural storyteller with an infectious love for her city.
